Roulette Betting
Roulette is a casino and gambling game of chance devised in 18th century France where the player bets on a part of a revolving wheel hoping the rotating ball would come to rest in. The value of chips may vary depending upon the players request anything more than the standard minimum limit and there is a table minimum limit to place bets. The chips can only be changed after the game.
House Edge
Roulette has a built in profit on every bet known as the House Edge. The Higher the house edge, the higher the amount you can win. The housing edge varies place to place. The most used Roulette systems were American roulette system and European Roulette system. The American Roulette wheel has both 0 and 00 whereas the European Roulette wheel has only 0. European Roulette is the most preferred among two systems.

Even though there is no Roulette betting strategy, most players use a systematic betting approach. Among the all the strategies, the betting strategies known and used by gamblers al around the world are,
- Outside bets have better chances of winning with a lower payout. These are the bets placed outside the line separating the wheel and the outer compartment.
The outside betting can be done by six ways. The bets can be made on one of the first eighteen numbers or one of the last eighteen numbers or color the roulette wheel will show or an even or odd number or the first, second or third group twelve numbers or all 12 numbers on any of the three vertical lines.
- Inside bets are the just opposite – Larger payout with lesser chance of winning. Based on the placement and number of integers on which the bets placed, the six different strategies of Inside bets are a single number Straight Up bet, dual number Split bet, three number Street bet or Line bet, Corner bet or Quad bet or Square bet, Six Line bet and special Trio bet.
